I have a passion for gift giving using special packaging and vessels. I love the hunt to find the right vessel. Many times I have a particular vision in mind but, during my treasure hunt, I find something completely different. It may sound crazy but, when I see the item— I know it is the one! I relish in the transformation of these vessels and always hope that the recipient uses the package for other items in their home after removing the gift. I have filled my home with many different types of vintage containers that I use for organization and decor. I find it brings a warmth that is so much more spectacular than a plastic box. There is the feeling of the story and how the item was used in the past that makes it all the more interesting. This vintage wooden cheese box will get a rustic paint job on the top— a monogram of sorts as the recipient loves the use of initials and monograms in her decor. I am filling it with some amazing goodies. I will post the AFTER when complete.
